Ultimate Asia Excursion

September 4, 2019

United States Taekwondo Committee has conducted the U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang for the past 11 years. This event has been very successful. Many participants have expressed their interest in visiting the birthplace of Taekwondo- Korea.

Beginning in 2020, US Taekwondo Committee will begin having bi-annual trips to Korea. Additionally, in the years that the Asia Trip takes place there will be US National Taekwondo Hanmadang Regional Events. This will replace the US Open Hanmadang, which will be held every two years instead of annually.

United States Taekwondo Committee makes this pre-announcement of the 2020 Ultimate Asia Excursion that will take place in the middle of June 2020. This excursion will include travel to Beijing, CHINA (The Great Wall of China) and to KOREA, the birthplace of the Martial Art of Taekwondo. In Korea we will visit Seoul, Taekwondowon in Muju, Kukkiwon, Gyeongju (Capital of the Silla Dynasty) and other attractions.

The trip will consist of 3 nights in Beijing and 6 nights in Korea over a total ten days. The price per person is approximately $3,500. The price includes roundtrip airfare (to Beijing, Beijing to Seoul, Seoul to USA), lodging, local transportation, and meals. There will be several payment plans in an effort to ease the financial burden on participants.

The Ultimate Asia Excursion is limited to 300 persons. Prepare now to take part in this exciting adventure to Beijing and Korea in 2020!
