1974 – 75 - Moved to Seoul, Korea as a colored belt to train for Black Belt Endorsed by Master Kim, Woong K., received sponsorship by the Korean Taekwondo Association for a permanent Visa to train in Korea Received Black Belt at Kukkiwon under the tutelage of Master Lee, Hyung Ro. Co Starred in “The Companion” movie with Master Kwon, Young Moon.

1975 - Returned to the US and started first Dojang at the University of Wyoming.

 

1976 - Opened 1st full-time Taekwondo Dojang – Salt Lake City, Utah

1978-1986 - Moved to Wyoming, started Dojangs in Riverton and Lander, introduced Creative musical Forms to Rocky Mtn. area Karate Tournaments.

1980 - Introduced Creative Musical Forms to the Rocky Mountain Point Karate Circuit

 

1985-2000 - Served as State President and other offices of the USTU Board of Governors.

1986 – 1992 - US Olympic Training Center  Moved to Olympic Training Center - Permanent Athletes Program Team Captain 86 – 88, Represented Taekwondo and the values and benefits of training as an Olympic Spokesperson to 120 Olympic Corporate Sponsors, Brought 1st corporate sponsor, “Jazzworks International”, to USTU in 86. And in 88 “Sunrider International” sponsored the US Taekwondo Olympic Team.

1992-2018 - Owned and operated a dojang in Aspen and Carbondale, Colorado and taught throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.

1997 - 98 - Launched PRO TKD on television around the world in 44 countries translated into 18 languages.  Launched PRO TKD Television, 1st as a Pay Per View and then a series for ESPN. Established Historic First for Taekwondo: 1st TV ratings for Taekwondo and Martial Art, 1st Martial Art coast to coast sport radio and sport page newspaper coverage, 1st Martial Art to be represented by talent agency, William Morris. 

2015 - Introduced the US Open Traditional Archery Championships in conjunction with the US Open Taekwondo Hanmadang.

2018 - Champions Education Fund Founder and Executive Director.  Introduced 529 educational prize money to be awarded to winners at the Hanmadang to supplement their educational dreams.

Formed Champions Education Fund as a Charity to raise money to be awarded to winners in Martial Art Competition with 529 educational prize money.

Currently 43 years full-time Taekwondo Dojang (School) business owner
