Hanmadang Referee Seminar Testimonial
At the US Taekwondo Centers in Colorado Springs we hold our “Masters Challenge” In-House tournament twice a year. Our Black Belts volunteer as judges for these events. Even within our own organization, our Black Belts sometimes have challenges with consistent scoring due to a lack of standard scoring system for referees. As a result, our students were not prepared to participate at the next level.
The US Taekwondo Committee, working in conjunction with the Kukkiwon, is offering a golden opportunity for our Black Belts to get trained in a standard scoring system – the same system that will be used for the National and World Taekwondo Hanmadang. This International and National Referee Certification Seminar will not only offer further training and education for our Black Belts, it will also prepare our students for the next level.
I am excited to send over 10 of our Black Belts to become certified Hanmadang Referees in order to improve the quality of referees in our school, which in turn will create a more positive experience for our students. This will also motivate our students to train harder and participate in the National and World Taekwondo Hanmadang. I also encourage everyone to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity.
